Glacier Park - Lake McDonald - Winter Wonderland

Bluebird Day in Glacier

Glacier Park - Lake McDonald - Winter Wonderland

Glacier Park – Lake McDonald – Winter Wonderland

It was one of those rare days in northwest Montana where the sun appeared, the clouds disappeared and the mountains were glowing.

I was just heading into my office to work on the computer but something inside me said, ‘no, Hell NoGo Outside.’

Over the years, I’ve learned to listen and trust that inner voice. I was not about to ignore the calling today.

So I called up my husband and told him to finish up his music recording, we were headed to Glacier Park.

John Muir once said:

The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.
The mountains are calling and I must go.
In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings.
I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in.
Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.
Keep close to Nature’s heart… and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.
When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the universe.
The power of imagination makes us infinite.
When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world.

Listen to your inner voice and heed it’s trusting advice.

Go Outside. Live in the moment. Play.
